Lots of great food out here in Park City. I went to an Italian bistro called Fuego Bistro and Pizzeria last night and got their Pollo Pompeii and it was delicious. So many flavors. It had a mushroom cream sauce, but not too creamy, sun dried tomatoes, green peppers and all sorts of good stuff with a “side” of pasta. I say “side” cause it covered half of the large plate. I made two meals out of that! Seriously though, try the Pollo Pompeii at Fuego, so good.

So this week, I’m staying at a couple of different hotels, each with its own unique restaurant selection. At the first hotel, a Best Western (1335 W 12th Street, Ogden, Utah, 84404-5417, US) which was not very nice, no BREAKFAST! How am I supposed to get my much needed grains and fruit without freakin breakfast!? Anyway, next door was a Jeremiah’s which is an excellent place and you should definately go there if you’re in Ogden.

Their fish tacos were perfectly amazing. I would say the BEST fish tacos I’ve ever tasted. It came with this side of rice that was not crunchy, but not mushy. It melted in your mouth with the buttery spices it was cooked with.

Next review is of Loco Lizard

I had their fish tacos, both salmon and halibut and they didn’t come anywhere close to Jeremiah’s.
However, the Best Western near the Loco Lizard is much nicer (6560 N Landmark Drive, Park City, UT, 84098) including breakfast, a game room, work out center, and pool and extra large hot tub. The pool came complete with teenage girls. I stayed humbly in my room thinking about them. That way I can be amoral in my brain while remaining physically pure. it was that or enjoy a nice long, overly drawn out awkward silence whilst I boiled myself in the hot tub with them so that they might later on go back to their room and talk about how creepy I was. *sigh* good times.

You know, I travel all over the country and stay at different hotels and eat at all kinds of restaurants and I just don’t track the info. Well that’s gonna change starting now. And all because of some damn good fish tacos which I shall review in the next blog entry.

Spokes and company took me to this really cool place about an hour outside of town called Krause Springs where the water temp is around 70 and it’s just beautiful. We BBQed and I swung off a tree rope, we swam into a small cave. It was fantastic, will have to go back.
